| Songs from the south and the north of Europe is a program that is building bridges between the Music of the Mediterranean Sea and Scandinavia. The Sea is the great connection, were the songs of the seamen and the wanderers’ talks about Love, travel, farewells, reunions, discovering, longing and hope. We find the same rythems and modes in songs from Catalonian as in a Norwegian song, and with these songs they were building unseeable bridges that made the different cultures come together. |
